Your comments on the 2010 race are at the top...

Just a quick note to say thanks to all involved in organising yesterday's race. It was a hugely enjoyable event, and it was a welcome change to have not only a fast off-road route but also the opportunity to run along woodland trails. The organisation was seamless and the quality of marshalling excellent, all were highly supportive. Also, a big thanks to the residents of Escrick for making all the athletes and spectators feel so welcome

Was actually in York last night and went along to Ripon & St John where I go circuit training. You’ll be pleased to know that loads of people from the class had competed and every single one of them thought it was an absolutely fantasic event and one of the best 10k’s they’d ever done. All agreed the course was fantastic and would love to be able to run around the route on a regular basis.Fingers crossed I’ll be back in Escrick in November and will definitely be competing next year

Firstly I would like to say that you held a fantastic race on Sunday, for a first time race it was well organised, great route, and fantastic atmosphere, so well done, I hope that you are thinking of making this an annual race as I can only see it gaining in attendance. I was also wondering if you are going to be putting the results up on the website, I am aware that it takes sometime to organise but would be good to know.Once again great race.

I ran in the 10K at Escrick on Sunday and have to comment on a brilliant race. Well organised and a lovely run through the Escrick Park Estate. Hope it will be a regular one. Just wondered if the ‘official’ results are posted on the web anywhere?Also (if you are open to suggestions?) a couple of comments for next year. More toilets! Teas/coffees for spectators who are waiting around for us runners. There were a lot of children waiting also, so an activity for them? Bouncy castle (always an easy money maker!). Thanks for organising a great race, nice setting and fantastic support from the local villagers at the start/finish, well done to all the marshalls too (although for next year, tell them they are allowed to cheer and clap as this really does help the runners!)Can you please let me know where I can get the results? See you next year!

I ran this race yesterday, and enjoyed it very much.  Nice run, and lots of helpful/encouraging marshalls (especially for the slower runners!).  Will definitely do it again.

Just a quick note to thank you and all of the helpers/marshals' in today's inaugural Escrick 10k. It was organized very professionally and it was also a  pleasure to come and run so close to home for a change!! Good luck with next year and see you all there?
